1、Lushan West Sea
Located in the southwestern part of Jiujiang City, spanning Yongxiu and Wuning counties, Lushan West Sea is conveniently accessible, approximately 86 kilometers from Jiujiang City. It consists of six scenic areas: Lianhua City Scenic Area, Qingstone Lake Scenic Area, Taohua Creek Scenic Area, Lujiaojian Scenic Area, Baiwan Maze Scenic Area, and Hongyantan Scenic Area.
The Lushan West Sea covers an area of 192 square kilometers with a total capacity of 8 billion cubic meters. It boasts numerous islands scattered across the lake, creating a harmonious blend of mountains and water. There are 1667 islands larger than 3 mu and 997 islands larger than 5 mu. Yunju Mountain, also known as “Little Lushan,” with an altitude of 1143 meters, is located in the Lushan West Sea. The Zhenru Zen Temple, the birthplace of the Caodong Sect of Chinese Buddhism, is known as the “cradle of the leaders of the Chinese Buddhist Association.”
2、Wuyuan
Located in northeastern Jiangxi Province, Wuyuan was one of the six counties of ancient Huizhou. Known as the “Land of Books” and the “Land of Tea,” Wuyuan is a nationally renowned cultural and eco-tourism county, praised as “China’s most beautiful village.”
Wuyuan’s tranquility and serenity reveal its natural vibrancy and simplicity. In the countryside of Wuyuan, villages dot the fields, mountains stand behind the villages, ancient trees cast dense shade on the mountains; water flows in front of the villages, bordering the fields, and boundless emerald fields stretch as far as the eye can see… This is a leisurely, serene sketch in light ink, a painting of harmony between humans and nature. In Wuyuan, you can completely unwind after a year of hustle and bustle.
The journey from Jiujiang to Wuyuan is approximately 213.3 kilometers, and you can directly reach it via the Hangrui Expressway. For people in Jiujiang, visiting Wuyuan to admire the rural scenery is a good choice for the Spring Festival.
Jiujiang to Jingdezhen is only 143.7 kilometers, with a full expressway, making it very convenient for self-driving tours. Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area is located in Qianshan County, Anqing City. Daoism classified it as the 14th Cave Heaven and 57th Fortunate Land. Sanzu Temple is one of the origins of Chan Buddhism. Tianzhu Peak, like a giant pillar supporting the sky, is majestic and magnificent, with extraordinary momentum. Tianzhu Mountain has many unique scenic spots and was listed as a first-batch national scenic spot by the State Council.
The journey from Jiujiang to Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area is 163 kilometers. If a family wants to choose a tourist destination that is within a reasonable distance and takes two or three days, Tianzhu Mountain would be a good option.
